The Best Robot Vacuum For Carpet

There's a robot for any carpet type, whether it's low-pile or high-pile. These intelligent appliances can navigate around your home, and can scoop up debris and even clean under furniture.

They come with advanced features like mapping, which help you navigate around your home and remember where furniture is. They can also boost suction power to clean up surfaces that are dirtier.

iRobot Roomba 694

The iRobot Roomba 694 is a robot vacuum for entry-level use that is able to work on bare floors and low-pile carpet. It has a good suction however it has trouble with larger particles such as grains of rice or sand. It is capable of cleaning pet hair, but it isn't as resistant to tangling as premium Roomba models such as the j7 and I6.

The Roomba 694 is simple to use. It has three buttons on its cover: 'Clean' launches the cleaning process and 'Dock' allows it to be put back into its charging station and 'Spot Clean' initiates the targeted cleaning. You can control it via a smartphone application that allows you to schedule cycles, stop and start them and adjust settings. It can also be paired with smart home devices such as Alexa or Google Assistant for voice-controlled operation.

This vacuum cleaner is slower than some others, but it is able to get into the most crevices and corners. It has a huge dust bin which is ideal to reduce the frequency at the frequency you have to empty it. It's compatible with digital maps and virtual barriers, which allow you to make it impossible to clean certain areas or even stop cleaning completely in order to prevent it from getting stuck on something.

Although it's not the most efficient model for its price however, it's superior to many other options. The Roborock E4 is more advanced than the Roomba 694, with superior cleaning performance for carpets with low and no pile. It also follows the most efficient cleaning method and has longer battery life. It is also more comfortable to use and has fewer parts that require regular maintenance, is less expensive to own over the course of its life, and charges faster than the 694.

It is also worth considering other models within the iRobot range, such as the v7 and the 981. They're more expensive but they are significantly better than the 694 in terms of performance on both low and bare floors. They also follow a more efficient cleaning route, have a bigger dirt compartment, are faster to charge, maneuver themselves more easily, and are easier to pair with smart home devices.

Shark RV1001AE IQ

This self-emptying robot with a budget does a decent job on hard floors and carpets with a low pile. The combo brush can reach into edges and corners, and it automatically increases suction when it detects carpet. It also excels at cleaning dirt embedded in the middle of the pile carpet. The IQ's compact footprint for docks and its self-emptying feature are both nice features. If you want to change the floor's levels or define no-go areas, you'll need to manually reset the map.

The IQ app provides advanced mapping and automated features, however it lacks no-go zones. These are only available on iRobot robots. The smart-pathing technology allows for greater maneuverability and the high-pile feature of its carpet cleaning mode is very effective but it could get caught on the tassels of the rug.

In our tests in our tests, the IQ was able to handle pet hair with ease, removing huge amounts of debris from bare floors and fair amounts on medium-pile carpet. It was less effective on shag carpets where it struggled to reach dirt and dust buried in the fibers. It was able to navigate the legs of chairs, small spaces and even the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. It was slower on bare flooring however, it was able to recover speed and was more efficient than the other robots we evaluated.

The IQ is a better choice for the majority of users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a bigger dust bin and lasts longer on charge, and is capable of maneuvering itself around obstacles. It has mopping tools that are able to remove sticky debris. The iRobot is, however, is better constructed, has fewer components that need maintenance or replacement, incurs less cost per year, and can create virtual no-go zones using its companion app. It can continue cleaning where it left off, even if the battery is out before it has finished.  vacuum and mop combo  can also be controlled via voice, which is a huge benefit for many users.

Eufy 11S

The eufy RoboVac 11S isn't the most feature-rich robot vacuum available however it offers powerful cleaning capabilities at the price of. This vacuum was designed for budget-conscious consumers who do not require a complicated mapping system, or even an app, to control it. This robot will last for more than an hour. It comes with the remote control, cleaning tool, and AC power adapter.

The 11S is slim and sleek, with a tempered glass upper deck that covers plastic finished to look like brushed aluminum. It's a refreshing departure from the utilitarian and industrial designs of Roomba, Samsung and Neato.

In our tests, the eufy11S was extremely effective at removing larger particles and fine dust on hard flooring. It was unable to thoroughly clean medium and high-pile carpets. The device has a tendency of bumping into people and furniture in its course. However, it is able to detect obstacles with sensors. It ceases and emits a loud noise when it encounters an obstruction. You can then manually steer the device around the obstacle and return it to working.

Another fantastic aspect of the eufy 11S is its BoostIQ mode that allows you to set the robot to automatically adjust its suction power to match floor type and level of mess. The remote control makes it easy to direct the 11S to your desired area.

If you don't have many furniture in the area you want to vacuum, Single Room Mode is an excellent option. The eufy will spend up to 30 minutes cleaning the area it is assigned.

You can also opt for Edge Cleaning, which reduces the amount of time spent in each area to 20 minutes for optimal battery life. This option allows the eufy to move in a spiraling fashion cleaning edges and corners.

Miele Complete C1

The Miele Complete C1 is an excellent mid-range canister robotic vacuum and a top performer on carpet. Its performance is also excellent on floors with no floor. It can remove rice and other fine particles with ease. The suction power doesn't drop as the dirt bin gets full. Its allergy-friendly design and air-sealed body traps allergens and keeps your family healthy. It has an onboard HEPA filter and self-emptying dustbin, so you don't have to buy additional filters or a separate vacuum bag.

It's not as powerful as the more expensive models, but it's still ideal for fighting dirt and deep cleaning. Its two front cameras deliver live images to your smartphone, and it comes with one of the best obstacle avoidance systems we've ever seen. It has a huge bin, an extended runtime and a quick, bump-free cleanup.

The Complete C1 is unlike most robots in that it is able to switch between a standard head and a turbo for different kinds of flooring. The turbo head is great for carpeting that is high-pile and low-pile, while the standard powerhead is great on unfinished floors and light carpets. It also features an automatic height adjustment system, which allows it to easily adapt to various types of flooring without any manual adjustments.

This model comes bundled with an SBD 285-3 Classic Combination Floorhead that can handle both hard floors and medium-pile carpeting. The powerhead is also easy to move and can be used to reach difficult areas. It has five different surface adjustments and a brushroll-off switch to prevent tangled hairs.

The Classic C1 also has a self-cleaning brush roll and an UtraClean mode that moves around the same area three times for the best cleaning possible, and a self-emptying dustbin which can be filled with the press of one button. The sound level of this model is greater than other models. However its powerful motor of 1,200 watts and durable construction are worth the extra cost.

If you're willing to spend a little more then the Miele Complete C3 canister robot vacuum is a great all-around robot vacuum. It is more effective on carpets than the Classic C1. It performs better on all types of floors and feels more sturdy, and includes a HEPA filter.
